Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Job Duties:

Assist in defining the product strategy and roadmap
Deliver product requirement documents (PRDs) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Assist in specifying market requirements for current and future products through market research supported by user-based input
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
Be an expert with respect to the competition in K12 assessment and data reporting platforms
Support the go-to-market strategy for respective products, working with all departments for execution
Required experience and knowledge

Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent technology products, specifically web/cloud based products
Desired 2+ years of additional experience in a job involving educational technology product development or management, instructional technology, or classroom experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical background, with experience in web technologies
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel 30% of the time
Examples and at least one sample of an effective product delivered in the past
Support the company's overall strategy and goals

Education Recommendations:

Minimum Bachelor's degree
MBA degree desired but not required
