SchoolCity Inc. Partners with Intel-Assess to Improve Assessments for
California K-12 School Districts

Mountain View, CA - SchoolCity Inc., a leading provider of assessment and analysis software solutions to the K-12 Education market announced today they have entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Intel-Assess, Inc., an assessment content solution provider based in San Francisco, CA.

Under the terms of the agreement, SchoolCity will distribute Intel-Assess' Item Bank and suite of services to California school districts as a part of their STARS™ Assessment, Analysis and Reporting Suite.

Intel-Assess will work directly with districts to ensure their assessment programs are successfully implemented. Intel-Assess' solution covers four content areas, including, English Language Arts/Reading, Math, Science, and Social Science for grades 2 through 12. Each item includes detailed distractor rationales to facilitate effective remediation, and the item bank is distributed across Bloom's levels of cognitive demand.

The SchoolCity system then allows educators to deliver assessments through their online testing or paper/pencil scanning delivery systems.

Additional services provided by Intel-Assess include a powerful blueprint generation tool that helps each district plan their annual assessment programs in accordance with district pacing guides and state assessment frameworks; and full-service assessment printing and distribution services. All of this combined with SchoolCity's reporting tools provides districts with a truly end-to-end solution to their assessment needs.
