This alliance, under an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreements will allow districts to interact with either SchoolCity's STARS™ or with VersiFit's EdVantage™ data warehouse solution seamlessly. SchoolCity Helping Teacher with Cost Effective Epson Scanners

SchoolCity, Inc., an education technology company providing K-12 assessment and accountability solutions, can populate instant test score results and help measure student performance faster and more efficiently using Epson WorkForce Pro document scanners. Epson WorkForce Pro GT-S50 and GT-S80 scanners have been certified for use with SchoolCity's STARS™, a suite of assessment software for accurate plain-paper scanning. The combined solution enables teachers to scan and retrieve test and assessment results instantly from their classroom.

SchoolCity Teams with The Council of the Great City Schools

SchoolCity, Inc. is proud to announce its membership in Council of the Great City Schools' Blue Ribbon Corporate Advisory Group. SchoolCity, Inc. becomes one of only 12 companies selected to advise the nation's most prestigious organization devoted to improvement of urban, K-12 education.

The Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) is the only national organization exclusively representing the needs of urban public schools. Composed of 65 large city school districts, its mission is to promote the cause of urban schools and to advocate for inner-city students through legislation, research and media relations.

CGCS' Blue Ribbon Corporate Advisory Group is composed of leaders from companies that share CGCS' priorities and commitment to urban public education. SchoolCity will advise the Council on strategies to improve urban public education.

Just Released: STARS 9.0!

The latest version of our flagship product formally rolls out in late May. As ever we listened and learned from customer feedback, and we're delighted to be able to meet more of their needs. Among the upgrades: cleaner design elements, easier ways to create assessments and student groups, a new, very cool Performance-Based Assessment module, along with other features that make STARS the most teacher-friendly system on the market. SchoolCity customers can now log into their accounts to see the new features or watch one of the Version 9.0 video overviews.

June: The Council of the Great City Schools Chief Information Officers Conference

On Thursday, June 16th, SchoolCity's President and CEO Vaseem Anjum will present strategies to improve urban public education at The Council of the Great City School's Chief Information Officers Conference. The conference, to be held at Seattle's Fairmount Olympic Hotel, will feature SchoolCity's experience working with urban districts such as Youngstown City Schools (OH) and the Fort Worth Independent School District (TX).
